fibroblast skin tightening This is a cosmetic treatment that uses plasma, an ionized gas, to tighten skin non-surgically. During the treatment, an electrical arc, also referred to as a plasma flash, forms between the tip of the device and the client's skin. Through a process called sublimation, which turns a solid into gas, the targeted tissues are tightened instantly. Full results will be visible within 2-4 weeks. The results are comparable to invasive surgery. The areas commonly treated are forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet, upper and lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, upper and lower lip, jowls, neck, belly, stretch marks, acne scarring, skin tags, loose skin. The area to be treated will be numbed to minimize discomfort. After the treatment the area may be red for 7-14 days and some clients may experience swelling (usually around the eye area) for 3-4 days depending on their sensitivity. At the site, small pinpoint sized crusts will form. They will fall off on their own after 4-5 days. They should not be touched, it is very important to keep the treatment area clean and follow aftercare closely. You cannot cover the area with makeup.
